CLASS III/TEACHER CERTIFICATION PROGRAMA non-degree (Class III) plan leading to secondary teacher certification is available to those who have earned a bachelor's degree but do not choose to pursue a graduate degree. Class III students earn only the credits required for teacher certification in their chosen academic field, as specified in the Plan of Study written after admission to the program. The certification plan includes professional education courses and courses in the candidate's selected teaching field (a minimum of 21 credit hours plus any courses necessary to correct deficiencies).
